update

I was out for a run the other day and something occurred to me. I'm not sure how I got my last job. One day I got a call, and said my resume had come across her desk...yada yada. I never applied there directly. Humm. This isn't any great 'occurrance' except that when I was running, I realized that I didn't apply at VMRF (my job in San Diego) either. I don't know how they got my info either, I just got a call one day (and a job the next). And I got my first job when a met a guy through a friend. I'm starting to wonder if my resume just sucks, or what.

Ugh, can you tell that being unemployed is on my mind. Yeah, it fucking sucks.

But Portland is cool as shit. I spent the rest of that run thinking about my likes and dislikes about Bridgetown.

On the likes list (keeping in mind that I don't get out much):
Hiking, trees, hills. Also I love the bridges and trains, particularly when I'm running. Love the coffee, the microbrews, and there are lot's of Pho places. Public transport is good, we live in the free zone so that's cool. Weather's been beautiful, and even though i love the rain, i've really dug it. It's December and i'm still running in shorts! "The Simpsons" is on twice a day, and they have weekly themes. No sales tax is pretty great, saves money and I don't seem to collect loose change like i used to.

On the dislike list:
I couldn't think of anything for the dislike list. I dislike being unemployed though!
